I'm at the back of the group- this is my class that I teach for Bible in Schools. I love them dearly and it was hard to say goodbye this morning. They were so cute and I gave them photo of "Miss Lydia" and it said Remember your ABC's (Admit, Believe, Confess) and to read your Bible and Pray everyday. I also gave them my email address- I hope some will write! We loved singing and learning more Bible stories. Anyway- what a blessing it's been to teach kids of Christ! May Jesus Christ be praised!
Oh-and I got to talk to three young girls after kid's club last week- I just pray that their decisions were sincere... :) God is so good!

Here's our latest Family Photo- taken under an hour ago. Lol- mom walked into the office this morning and laughed, saying that dad guessed I'd probably be wearing bright green today. HAHA- I didn't know we were getting photos taken! Hey- at least this is me! This will hopefully be our prayer card photo- family photos are such a mission! So, this was behind the gym- we have these lovely rolling hills that I just love to drive beside as I head up to church several times each week. New Zealand is soooo wonderful!

In Memoriam of a dear Sister...
My dear sister, Jenny Evia, went to be with our Saviour around 10am this morning- June 4th, 2007. Her sweet spirit amidst the cancer and pain of the past few months has been a shining example of God's goodness and grace. Her husband remains a strong pillar of light and hope as he continues serving Christ. Dad said that she sat up, took off her oxygen mask and said "Let me go now." and she died moments later- looking toward her Lord. How blessed I am to have had Jenny as my "sister" these past years in NZ- and how greatly she will be missed. God makes no mistakes... that is my assurance! Please pray for her husband, and that her parents will receive Christ.

Howdy- so here's me! Me in my stylish apron, warm sheepskin ugg boots, and long-sleeved thermal shirt. It's chilly here, mate! As I was discussing with an American friend the other day, the houses here are freezing! Only now are the houses beginning to be built with more insulation and better heating. Our house is a wooden one- made by the Lockwood company. It's so beautiful, and I love it, but as the temperature changes, the woods creaks (VERY loudly sometimes!) Anyway, the walls are as thick as the wood, and there's no insulation, so more often than not, when we wake up on any given day between April-October, we can see our breath- while we're still in bed! :) Thankfully, my flat, which is below, is warmer because I have thicker walls- cement.;) It's colder all the rest of the day, but in the morning, my room is warmer than any up above. I appreciate that everytime we have guests and I sleep in Grant's room- surely the coldest room in the house!
Today has been rainy and rainy- very typical Kiwi winter's day! Just wanted to give you a glimpse into our wonderful winter as those of you in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy the summer days. :) I'll be there enjoying summer in under two months!!! Think of us.. of rain.. of coooolllddd... hahaha.
