My dear sister, Jenny Evia, went to be with our Saviour around 10am this morning- June 4th, 2007. Her sweet spirit amidst the cancer and pain of the past few months has been a shining example of God's goodness and grace. Her husband remains a strong pillar of light and hope as he continues serving Christ. Dad said that she sat up, took off her oxygen mask and said "Let me go now." and she died moments later- looking toward her Lord. How blessed I am to have had Jenny as my "sister" these past years in NZ- and how greatly she will be missed. God makes no mistakes... that is my assurance! Please pray for her husband, and that her parents will receive Christ.
Lydia, lovely Lydia, I'm praying for you hun. I know it's taken me a little while to get around to posting on here, but you have been in my prayers, and you are so wonderful that I'm just so blessed each day when I realize that our friendship just keeps growing. I pray and hope that as the years go by you and I will stay as 'sisters' living, loving, and laughing each moment of life. I love you sweets!!!!! i know how hard it is to lose a friend, and I pray that the tears will be only tears of joy when you know she is in Heaven, and you will see her soon.
